Ex Appeal - Review

As the webmistress for one of the Northeast’s hottest dating sites, Hunk Du Jour, Jenny Talbot is no stranger to reading the applications of potential clients. But when the latest application that crosses her inbox belongs to Ty Randall, the guy she broke up with a mere twenty-seven days ago, she does a double take. Reading what Ty wants in bed not only gets Jenny hot, it also makes her rethink ending their relationship. All she longed for was a little more spice in the bedroom—okay, a lot more—but he let her go without an argument. Faced with the possibility that Ty may really be moving on, getting her ex back becomes more appealing than ever. But will revealing exactly what she needs allow Jenny to finally experience ultimate pleasure or will she drive away the man she loves for good?

Ex Appeal is book two in Cari Quinn's Hunk De Jour Series. Book one was Full Disclosure. See my review HERE and Oh Em Gee i was sweating reading it! If i could have called out for ice i would have.
This author seriously knows how to turn the heat up and sizzle your darn eyeballs.
This story is all about a relationship gone stale through neglect and finding their way back to each other, finding the spice to go along with their love.
I loved Jenny, the girl has balls to not only end a relationship that she wasn't satisfied in but then admit she did the wrong thing and decide to go after her man any way she could. She had restraints, multi coloured condoms, flavoured body crayons, a bag full of determination and she was getting her man back!
This reminded me of one of those books when a couple get their HEA and you're always left wondering, what happened next? For Jenny and Ty they've been together a few years, gotten comfortable in their lives, got distracted and busy and began to neglect what was most important. I liked the premise of watching them rebuild the heat. Rebuild they did, one sexy scene at a time!
Oh My! If you want a short erotic summer read with characters you instantly like and a storyline that without doubt will make your eyeballs steam, then you MUST read Ex Appeal!
I loved Full Disclosure. And this second instalment lived up to that greatness. Such a wonderfully written sexy all consuming erotic read. I hope there's a book three in this series.

Quote i liked from Jenny:

“Why is it so terrible I like sex? That I want more of it? Isn’t that what most guys dream of?”

A delicious spicy hot Summer read, i give Ex Appeal by Cari Quinn 4.5 Sparkles out of 5!

Of Bitches,Book Boyfriends & BTs

Hi Peeps,
Today on Bears talk corner, Angie aka Jaymzangel from A Bitch a Blog & a Bookshelf has kindly let me interview her, so sit back and lets get to know Jay and her reading habits a little better

Sidenote: I’ve known my PIC for 3+ years and never called her Angie, so don’t  be alarmed if I call her jay…BT…cow...bitch…wench…asshat, and no im not being mean! I have mad crazy homicidal stalker girl crush love for the chick! LOL

And so to the interview…

Hi Jay! So nice of you to drop by, I know the book boyfriends keep you super busy…did you bring any with you? *looks around* no? *pout* what about biscuits…bring me any ?
hello my darling! Thank you for having me. The book boyfriends are around somewhere, if you’re good I’ll let them come out to play later ;) *passes giant tin of choco-covered biccies* spoiled cow =P
(see she girl crushes on me too!)

To kick off the interview, can you describe yourself in three words ?
sarcastic, stubborn, sweet =D
(the stubbornest yes it’s a word! sweetest sarcastic asshat there is! So says the Bear

Can you remember what story started your love affair with books ?
I’m not sure about a particular book as I have always loved books even before I learned to read. My mom says when I was little there was no such thing as one bedtime story, I would come with a stack of at least 10 books & she would have to read them all to me, LOL. Starting with the Little Golden Books, the fairy tales & Dr Seuss, I suppose. I get my love of reading from my mom and my paternal grandmother.

If you could only read one genre what would it be ?
hmmm, that’s a toughie. I don’t like the whole genre thing, really. I just like what I like, I don’t care what genre it happens to be in. I guess I would say romance because to me that encompasses paranormal, thriller, mystery, etc etc because I think if they include romance, they should be counted in that group. Or I could just be a wiseass & say fiction *grins*

You and I met because of the Dark Hunter Series when we generously shared Acheron as our mate…and for two greedy bitches that was a fete in itself! *grins* Was it the DH series that kick started your love of paranormal ?
HAHA! Indeed we did and indeed it was, who knew we could share our Ashy so well? Or be such mischievous partners in crime? Ah, the things we’ve gotten up to, hehehe *MWAH!* I love this girl.(it’s true she does, she has much girl crush love for me ;)
I was a Dracula fan, a Buffy fan, and an Anne Rice fan, as well as a fan of the Goosebumps books when I was a kid so I can’t say the DH series kick started that paranormal love. They did however kick off a whole new era in my reading as far as the many new paranormal series and authors are concerned. A DH boardie first pimped the Black Dagger Brotherhood to me and from then on, I was lost. Very happily so.
(lets take a moment to reflect on the awesome that was Buffy. Angel/Angelus how I swooned for your leather trousers! Spike with your sarcastic tongue!)

I know you have many MANY Book Boyfriends, is there one you couldn’t do without ?
ACK! Pick just one, impossible. I would have to say the BDB, I couldn’t do without them. And I refuse to pick just one.
(greedy wench! Good answer *pets*

How does your TBR look ?
like a towering beastly nightmare!! There are four HUGE piles, I think I have about 50+ books on my TBR pile. *weeps*

This section of the interview is what I like to call BDB Mania:

Do you remember your first BDB ?
ah Wrath *warm fuzzies* he was my first and as he is the King, that is very appropriate. The beginning of an obsession, LOL. I flew through Dark Lover and promptly went out to Books A Million at 10PM to buy Rhage & Z’s books.

Think you could tame Rhage’s beast ?  RAWR!!
RAWR!! I would definitely give it my best shot.
(When he offers himself up to Mary, still one of THE best BDB scenes!

What BDB Shellan is your favourite and why ?
~Xhex stole my heart in Lover Mine. She was fierce and kickass and loveable. She was the perfect mix of a strong independent heroine who was not afraid to love.
(I think Xhex is going to be the third in our releationship when we get wed ;)  I loved her too!

And the opposite, which Shellen do you wanna hit repeatedly with your car ?
I don’t know about hit repeatedly but Marissa was too much of a doormat for me. She has improved greatly since being with Butch though. Also Cormia doesn’t do much for me.
(It’s sad that I only remember Cormia cause she was watching Dirty Dancing in a scene

The BDB boys are known for their pantie squealing, knee trembling fang bitingly awesome sex scenes unique slang, which word(s) of theirs do you like to read them saying ?
for me, Vishous saying ‘true’ can make my toes curl even if he’s not saying anything remotely sexy. I also love the word ‘shitkickers’. I could go on and on.

Vishous, Qhuinn or John Matthew…choose only one ?
~NEVAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!  I want ‘em ALL!!!
(Greedy cow!! Dont make me ban you from seeing them…they’re my book boyfriends I so can! LOL

Now I couldn’t have a BDB section and not ask about the latest book Lover Mine and have your thoughts on it…was it everything you wanted J R Ward to give us? Was there anything missing? Are you disappointed about anything in the book ? What parts made you cry/laugh/get angry at the most
well, as per my gushingly swoony review, I adored it. It was more than I ever could have hoped or dreamed for. The only thing missing was me being in the book & getting my HEA with all the Brothers, HEE! The ghost thing was a bit weak but the rest of the book totally made up for it. I cried a lot during the book. Happy tears and sad. The Qhuay parts were heartbreakers and there were quite a few from John Matthew and Xhex as well. But the happy tears came in where JM and Xhex were concerned once they finally came together for good. Lord, I could start sniffling again just thinking about it.

Some quick fire questions…hold on to your panties!

Vamp OR Demon  ~ Vamp
Twitter OR Facebook  ~  Twitter! 1000%
Bones OR Barrons  ~ ack! Both!
Chocolate or Taters ~ BOTH
Menz OR More Menz  ~ more menz
Piercings OR Tats    ~ mmmm both!

We’ve seen a few of your short stories over at The Gutter Girls blog, where do the ideas for your characters come from?  And what can we look forward to in the future? *has thrashing stick at the ready for refusal* ‘Cause you know…I kinda maybe love Rafe…so you know I need NEED more of him! Would you deny a Bear?
the ideas just sort of pop into my head, especially if I’ve been reading something durty sometimes *blushes*  I have no idea what will come in the future. I have to get the urge to write and as you are a much better writer than me, I am content to let you do it. *braces for beating* like I could deny you, I’m sure you will browbeat me into writing more, so I wouldn’t be too worried if I were you =P
(good girl! *taps foots* im waiting!…gimme Rafe already!

What book series are you pimping right now and why ?
as ever and always, I’m pimping the BDB. As well as: the Fever series, Cat & Bones, Demonica, Nalini Singh’s Angels

You recently starting blogging, what kind of blogger are you? What topics blow your skirt up to blog about and anything cooking in your brain right now to blog ?
*snicker* a very lazy one as you well know. So far my blogging has mainly been about books but it just depends what floats my boat. I imagine I may do some True Blood blogs at some point. Might have to do a Fever series blog full of moaning over the now even longer wait for Shadowfever *wails*

Top 4 book boyfriends off the top of your head…and GO!
geez! Okay, the BDB, Barrons, Bones & Eric Northman. Yes, the BDB counts as one, says I.

What are you reading right now ?
~I've been having a bit of a reading FAIL again lately, I'm not sure why. work is quite busy so my usual sneak reading has been schwacked. I've been trying to finish Skin Tight for like 2 weeks now. it's SO good but I am just having reading problems

What will you be reading a week from now ?
~hopefully something off my ginormous TBR pile. If only I could stop adding to the damn thing =P

Is there a new book/author/series you’re excited about ?
~I’d say the one I am most anxious for is Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning as it is the last of the Fever series. Don’t you dare gag or I’ll whack you, bt. You’d like them if you read the rest of them. *SWAT*
(Sidenote: since this interview was conducted I’ve now bought and read the 2nd and 3rd Barrons and thank the lord I loved them cause she beats terribly hard!

Can you take us through a typical day in the life of Jay? Don’t leave any of the deets out…that means the frolickings with book boyfriends too!
pretty boring, really. If it’s a weekday, I’m at the evil work *hiss* I do my best to sneak read during the day. I either go to the gym after work if I am feeling motivated, which usually I’m not or I come home, make dinner, make sure my shows are set to record and play online with my PIC, read & go to bed. If it’s the weekend, I’m usually out & about. With summer arriving now, I will be spending a lot of time out by my pool.  Hehehe, as for the frolickings with the book BFs, those are for my eyes only ;D

You can recommend 5 books from any genres you read…aaaand GO!
Lover Mine-JR Ward, Dreamfever-Karen Marie Moning, One Foot in the Grave-Jeanine Frost, Mr. Perfect-Linda Howard, Night Play-Sherrilyn Kenyon
(MMMMM Vane from Night Play. He can dressing room me any day of the week!

This has been fun Jaylicious!…your book boyfriends You're welcome back anytime to Bears talk corner *grin*

Chicagoland Vampires Books One && Two - Review

They killed me. They healed me. They changed me...Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn't exactly glamorous, but it was mine. I was doing fine until Chicago's vampires announced their existence to the world-and then a rogue vampire attacked me. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker ... and this one decided the best way to save my life was to make me the walking undead.Turns out my savior was the master vampire of Cadogan House. Now I've traded sweating over my thesis for learning to fit in at a Hyde Park mansion full of vamps loyal to Ethan "Lord o' the Manor" Sullivan. Of course, as a tall, green-eyed, four hundred year old vampire, he has centuries' worth of charm, but unfortunately he expects my gratitude-and servitude. Right...But my burgeoning powers (all of a sudden, I'm surprisingly handy with some serious weaponry), an inconvenient sunlight allergy, and Ethan's attitude are the least of my concerns. Someone's still out to get me. Is it the rogue vampire who bit me? A vamp from a rival House? An angry mob bearing torches? My initiation into Chicago's nightlife may be the first skirmish in a war-and there will be blood...
*Summary taken from Author website**

Where has this book been all my life?!  Thanks to Bells over at Hanging with Bells for putting both book and author on my radar.(I love Twitter for book recs
Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill is written in the first person, not always my preferred POV but for Merit's story it fits well and is easily read.  After a brutal attack, Merit is turned vampire to save her life and thrust into a whole new world, having to follow rules, pledge an allegiance to a House and Master vampire when all she wants to do is continue her old life.

I love this book! Merit is a great character, very engaging to read, to follow her journey into being a vampire, her highs and lows, her struggles. This isn't a typical vampire book when girl becomes vamp and the king pin Master vampire fall in love. Within a few days Merit is inadvertently challenging Ethan to a smack down.

What i love about Merit is she doesn't suddenly become this super vampire who can kick arse and is ruling the roost in under five minutes, that big headed complex always turns me off a lead heroine. Merit is just a normal regular girl, she's funny as hell. For book one it isn't overly packed with all the info you're going to need throughout the series, you know the books i mean, they give you a million names, six million back stories and you just get lost in information. This isn't one of those books. (woot) It has a nice steady pace, an engaging story and a handful of characters you will love getting to know.

I particularly liked best friend Mallory, the banter and quick wit between the friends is very humorous and the girls have a real closeness that comes right off the page.
After reading this book you'll have one question to ask yourself: Team Catcher, Team Morgan or Team Ethan? Wanna know which i am?
You gotta wait! Mwahaha.
I loved this book. LOVED!
I give Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill 4.5 Sparkles out of 5. A Nom-tastic read!

The story of a young heiress's initiation into the dark society of the Chicagoland Vampires continues… Ten months after vampires revealed their existence to the mortals of Chicago, they're enjoying a celebrity status usually reserved for the Hollywood elite. But if people learn about the Raves-mass feeding parties where vampires round up humans like cattle—the citizens will start sharpening their stakes. So now it's up to the new vampire Merit to reconnect with her upper class family and act as liaison between humans and bloodsuckers, and keep the more unsavory aspects of the vampire lifestyle out of the media. But someone doesn't want peace between them—someone with an ancient grudge…

*Summary take from Goodreads**

Book two in the Chicagoland Vampires series. Friday night Bites by Chloe Neill is another awesome read. Merit has some development in her new life as a vampire and Sentinal to Master Ethan, she's moved to Cadogan House, her once stable relationship with Mal is shook, she's training with Catcher, made to date Morgan master of another rival vampire house, has to mingle with the elite sector of her family again to solve a problem, has tension with old friends, sexual tension with her master, sexual tension with her faux boyfriend, and a big bad bitch out to ruin her. On top of all that Merit is worried about her vampire side in the fact that it's completely split from her human side.
I love that she isn't perfect, she has faults and flaws and fears (all the Fs lol ) she has some great inner dialogue going on, and i just love when her and Ethan are on the page together. Just when you think Awww Ethan likes her he slams down the shutters and vampire politics takes over, I can say i don't like how he uses Merit for House gain, C'mon dude, that isn't how you're going to win the girl!
I do like Morgan, but at times he seemed to be petty and the sparkle of his Nom-ness wore off a little, i think he forgot Merit is from another vampire house and therefore number one is always going to be loyalty to her House, i do see chemistry between them so i hope we see more of him.

What i miss in this book is others POV, i'd love to delve into Ethan's mind, or Catcher's, I would have liked to have seen the development between him and Mallory, in book one (Some Girls Bite)  it seemed Catcher said Hi Mallory said Hi and bam they were a couple all banging on the kitchen floor.

What you want from a second book in a series is that same magic that hooked you in to begin with, and 'Friday Night Bites' has that.
While it's not perfect, it has some parts that are repeated, i'm assuming for readers who didn't read 'Some Girls Bite' first (why the heck not, it's awesome!) that's just one of my pet peeves with books, but it didn't take away my enjoyment, these are really great likeable and sometimes maddening characters and i can't wait for book three Twice Bitten out in July (Squee

Morgan, Catcher or Ethan...what team are YOU on? you know you're on one ;) mine is...*drum roll*.......*pauses for dramatic effect*.......
TEAM ETHAN!!!! He isn't a typical hero, he's kind of an ass at times, but i am feelin' him! Being a fickle bitch i hold the right to change teams without any notice haha

I give Friday Night Bites by Chloe Neill 4 Sparkles out of 5

The Darkest Passion - Review

For weeks, the immortal warrior Aeron has sensed an invisible female presence. An angel--demon-assassin--has been sent to kill him. Or has she? Olivia claims she fell from the heavens, giving up immortality because she couldn't bear to harm him. But trusting--and falling for--Olivia will endanger them all. So how has this "mortal" with the huge blue eyes already unleashed Aeron's darkest passion? Now, with an enemy hot on his trail and his faithful demon companion determined to remove Olivia from his life, Aeron is trapped between duty and consuming desire. Worse still, a new executioner has been sent to do the job Olivia wouldn't....

**Summary taken from Goodreads**

WOW! wow! The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter is book five in the Lords of the Underworld series and Simply it's the best so far. I didn't think i could love a book more after Sabin's (The Darkest Whisper) but Aeron's book blew that one clean out of the water. I LOVED IT!
Having said that (did i mention I LOVED IT??) I'm going to do my review slightly different to the norm, since this is a fairly new release i don't want to give any spoilers and ruin it for you, so i will do some choice points and thoughts i had (hopefully keeping it vague so i don't plot bomb

So if i haven't said it already, I LOVED this book! I swooned and gasped and growled and laughed and swooned some more and cursed through the entire book, I'm so invested in these characters i wanted the very best for them and Gena Showalter delivered in BUCKETS!

Olivia is a hoot! Originally a joy bringer she was then sent to kill Aeron, falls in love and can't do it and then becomes a fallen angel, she is funny without releasing it, the girl can barely stand on her legs and yet she is so determined to be with Aeron despite his opinion that she isn't going to be. She was sweet and funny and smart and charming and vulnerable, and for once a heroine that didn't bore me rigid, or make me want to rip her face off or have my eyes rolling with irritation, or all of the above.

My opinion swayed some on Legion, the demon Aeron brought back from hell, in previous books she was childlike with her cute lisp and adoration for Aeron, what she did had me gasping out "NO what are you doing?!?!" suffice to say i'm anxious to see what transpires next for her, how her relationship with Aeron and Olivia will be now. I do have a theory if she gets her own book just WHO will be her HEA.

I'm super curious what's in store for William! I've read he is Gena's favourite character so it has to be something spectacular, and i don't think it's going to be the direction that seems to be glaringly least i'm hoping for something more for him, you have a flirty sex obsessed huge egomaniac and a loyal kind natured guy, he has to get kicked on his arse with a chick who isn't going to fall at his feet worshipping him..right?

Lysander, bad angel! naughty! I'd loved him in his short story, and now my opinion of him flipped. Hope we see him again.

LOVE the Harpies, this time we saw Kaia, she was a hoot and i know who i want her hooked with *CoughWilliamCough*

There's many revelations that keeps the pages turning fast, the story takes dark twists and turns and is entwined with such a lovely deep passionate love, the books revelations also made me ferocious for The Darkest Lie - Gideon's story (RAWR! lie to me!) One of the Lords i feel bad for, it was frustrating for me to translate all his lies so i wont look forward to the challenge of his book *snort* (see what i did huh? ;) )

Aeron! Oh Aeron. Keeper of the demon Wrath, protector of his friends, reigning down punishment to those who deserve it to appease the demon he houses inside him, i always felt bad for him and hoped he would get a great HEA book and i wasn't disappointed. I loved his relationship with Wrath, it made me laugh out loud several times. Wrath you'd expect to be all grrrr and violence all the time, and it does have that side too, but he is also possessive of Olivia -

Wrath: Mine. Aeron: Ours. Learn to share, Wrath. I've had to.
(and then later on...)
Aeron: "Baby, sweet baby" he said "My baby" Wrath: Ours. Learn to share

Love that quote!

Now i await for Gideon's book and bask in my Aeron post bliss! Gena Showalter one of the best paranormal writers. If you know this series you're going to want to read this book ASAP, it can be read as a stand alone, you just wont get the connections or back stories of other characters, i recommend you rush out right now and purchase the entire series, you wont regret it! for reals!

I give The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter - 4.5 Sparkles out of 5 - a Lord-tastic read!

Succubus Nights - Review

Georgina Kincaid's job sucks. Literally. Love hurts, and no one knows it better than Georgina Kincaid. If she so much as kisses her new boyfriend, she’ll drain his life force. Georgina is a succubus—a demon who draws her power from other men’s pleasure. Admittedly, the shapeshifting and immortality perks are terrific, and yes, Georgina did choose to join the ranks of hell centuries ago. But it seems completely unfair that a she-demon whose purpose is seduction can’t get hot and heavy with the one mortal who knows and accepts her for who she is.It’s not just her personal life that’s in chaos. Doug, Georgina’s co-worker at a local bookstore, has been exhibiting bizarre behavior, and Georgina suspects that something far more demonic than double espressos is at work. She could use help finding out, but Bastien, an irresistibly charming incubus and her best immortal friend, is preoccupied in the suburbs with corrupting an ultra-conservative talk radio star—and giving Georgina some highly distracting come-hither vibes. Georgina is going to have to work solo on this one—and fast because soon, Doug’s life won’t be the only one on the line…
**Summary taken from Author Website**

I struggled with this book, surprising since i loved book one Succubus Blues in the Georgina Kincaid Series. Succubus Nights (aka: Succubus on Top) by Richelle Mead still has the fun humorous essence of Georgina, she's now dating author Seth but can't get hip bumpage with him or she will drain his life force and although we see alot of them together it feels like nothing progresses much, i liked Seth's sweet gentle nature, a sexy nerd, he's no alpha, but at times he just seemed nonchalant, i wanted to see fire or passion from him, and he was just a little lacking, he still remains my favourite male character though, there's just an endearing quality about him that you have to like.

There wasn't much page time for Georgina's friends in this book, i was hoping to find out more about Carter or even the demon world they all existed in but we didn't get that.
In Succubus Nights two story lines coincide, one is the mystery of the strange behaviour of Georgina's co-worker and human friend Doug, the other is to help her fellow incubus friend Bastien to entrap a snooty woman to bed him, lose her goodie goodie reputation thus giving him a pat on his demon back and getting him out of a shit load of trouble.  Bastien was interesting,(and very growl worthy delicious!) there was a scene between him and Georgie that left me a little disappointed with her, yes she's a Succubus, her job is to bed men for the greater evil, take their life force, but she's also a woman with morals, she cares about people and she loves Seth, i guess i wanted the hearts and flowers and she just showed a human aspect to her character for a moment.

The positives about this book is the style of writing, Mead lets you see good and evil aren't always polar opposites, sometimes the line is blurred. I see alot of potential for these characters and although i wasn't as jazzed for this book as i was the first i am looking forward to diving into book three Succubus Dreams
Another positive is, in her world revolving around sex it's sweet to see Georgina actually maintain and work on a celibate relationship, her love for Seth is very much apparent, so i am hoping in some way in future books her and Seth are able to be together in all the ways they want to be.

A likeable read but not overly thrilling I give Succubus Nights by Richelle Mead 2.5 Sparkles out of 5

Texas Tangle - Review

Thanks to her cheating ex-husband and her thieving brother, all horse breeder Nikki Kimball has left is a bruised heart, an over-drawn bank account and an empty home. When sex-on-legs Dillon Barnett and his brooding foster-brother Brett Anderson start showing more than just neighborly attention, Nikki is intrigued…and a little gun-shy. Dillon and Brett have a history; back in high school, the two friends fought a bitter battle over Nikki. Now, ten years later, Brett still longs to be the man in Nikki’s life, but he’s determined to stand back and let Dillon win Nikki’s heart. Society says Nikki must choose between the two men she loves. Is Nikki strong enough to break all the rules in order to find happiness?
**Summary taken from Author website**
Disclaimer: received from Net Galley

Right from the first page Texas Tangle by Leah Braemel draws you in, It's a pantie squealing read for sure and if it had had another 100 pages of Dillon, Brett and Nikki i would have been a happy girl.
With just three main characters and a handful of secondary characters none of which leave you confused with "who is that again...who said what?" Just the right amount of protagonists to build an erotic tale that has both story and substance too.
Nikki is a girl you can like, i did, even if there were times she irritated me slightly when she was all angst ridden about which man to choose, but she is just a sweet country girl, lonely and is suddenly drawn into double attraction from Dillon and step brother Brett.

Pretty much right away things turn physical for Nikki and Dillon, it's a believable heat between them and i wondered how a menage as the cover implies would be brought into the story since Brett was determined to not act on his attraction for Nikki and give Dillon -who he thinks of as a brother- the chance he never had with her.
It was Brett's back story that tugged at my heart strings, and it makes you understand why he doesn't toss his hat into the ring right away to win Nikki over. And the tension with him and Dillon left you guessing to as to which direction the story would go in.

You know those books when there's more than one male lead and you feel the need to choose a team? I'm on team Dillet (gettit??!) 'cause i loved both characters, I liked how they were with Nikki and the love they have for each other, i'm hoping there is a follow on book because i loved Dillon's family, (there's younger brothers so i have hope!) the grandmother and mother especially i enjoyed reading, i'm not sure if Nikki was giving off  "i'm sexing both your grandsons" pheromones but Gramma dearest nailed it right away and openly encouraged them all to live as a threesome which gave me a giggle. Go Gramma!

Scorchin' sizzlin' sexy time, nicely paced, good character interaction, i love the flow the author has between them all, these are characters you want to care about, you feel for them when they hurt, you want to defend Nikki against her terrible family, and yes girls you want to jump their bones nom nom hug the beejeeuz out of Dillon and Brett.

I'm not saying you were trying to rub my face in anything. It just damn near killed me listening to what was going on." He exhaled noisily. "Dillon's so fuckin' loud , it was hard to ignore."  - Brett

Dear Lord, if the man was primed and ready while he was asleep, what would he be like wide awake?  - Nikki

This is a delicious sexy summer read for anyone who enjoys a good erotic menage story.
